Label Traxx – the print business management software for narrow web label printers and converters – is linked with Esko Backstage and an HP Indigo press on the HP stand at Labelexpo Europe. Using this feature, available in Label Traxx Version 5.5, orders entered by users via the Label Traxx E-Traxx module are automatically transmitted directly to Esko Backstage, where they are formatted for the particular HP Indigo press in production. The software enables two-way communications, creating a return reporting path for monitoring equipment performance and recording production data.

Label Traxx is previewing version 5.5 of its management information software system at Labelexpo. Enhanced digital print tools also include built-in cost calculations for HP Indigo presses, crossover point calculation tools, a digital web storefront, a special facility for tracking inventory of digitally coated roll stock, shrink-sleeve estimating and ordering, and an email alert system that activates messages as a job moves throughout the production plant.
